If you've ever played a Metroidvania game, then you know that death is often a part of the experience. In Neon Moon, we wanted to give players a way to recover some of the money they lost when they died. Enter the Fading Trail!

Whenever you die in Neon Moon, you will lose a percentage of your money. If you use a fading trail, you'll get all of that money back.

Of course, there's more to the Fading Trail than just recovering lost money. If you're clever, you can use them to your advantage. For example, you can use them to upgrade the maximum equip-able fireflies. This can be done by mixing the fading trail with a Firefly Body, another item that can be found only twice in the world of Nightlight.

So, if you're looking for a challenge, try using the Fading Trail to your advantage. Who knows what secrets you may discover?
